NMC Healthcare’s participation in Health & Fitness Fun Day 2013

NMC Healthcare participated in the Health & Fitness Fun Day, a two-day event designed to celebrate, educate and inspire participation in health and well being recently held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC).

NMC Healthcare participated in a wide variety of events showcasing the group’s efforts to promote the concept of healthy living and wellbeing and to spread awareness in the community about the benefits of a healthy diet and moderate physical activity on a regular basis.

NMC Healthcare offered a wide array of free medical tests and health screening programs including glucose, blood pressure and body mass index, exercise demonstrations, fun-activities for kids, henna and nail painting for women, sampling of healthy and tasty food, interactive sessions and much more.

Over 350 adults were screened for diabetes and obesity and Zari Spa’s nail paint and henna art was particularly appreciated by the women. Over 3000 students from various schools visited the NMC Healthcare stall and collected complementary gifts. Healthy food outlet Bite Rite offered free scrumptious samples to over 80 visitors.

Al Jazira also partnered with us and was a major attraction among children. Mr. Sultan, a prominent Emirati player also visited the stall as part of the promotion.
