The Mussafah Police Station at the Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with NMC Healthcare, organized a health program that included many free medical services. The program targeted more than 250 of the police station’s employees and customers at the stations affiliated with the Peripheral Regions Directorate.
Major Sultan Saeed Al Raisi, Director of Musaffah Station at the Peripheral Areas Police Directorate, said: “The 3-day program included comprehensive tests, such as blood pressure tests, blood sugar level and cholesterol tests, Body Mass Index (BMI) tests and other consultations including eye examinations, as well as surgical and general medicine consultations. Health professionals also offered different medical advice and tips. .”
He added: “The health program took place at the Mussafah and Al Rahba police stations. It falls in line with Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s efforts to support partnerships with community institutions in order to benefit from what they offer and help the public. Such social initiatives play an important role and reflect humanitarian values and social solidarity.”
Major Al Raisi also said: “The program witnessed large attendance from the employees and customers. They underwent medical tests and commended the organizers for their efforts. They said the program was educational and improved their health and medical awareness; in line with the slogan: Prevention is better than a pound of cure.”
